About ASSONT

FOUNDERS
Association of Nigerian Teachers (ASSONT) was founded by Prof. Byron U. Maduewesi, Professor in Curriculum Studies in collaboration with Professor Ruth Utulu in 2006

OBJECTIVES
• To encourage professional growth of teachers;
• To protect the teaching profession;
• To protect members interests;
• To find solution to our educational problems in Nigeria;
• To foster academic excellence.

The Association in a bid to achieve her set objectives organizes an annual national conference in July.
